Purchased my first Jeep, a 1999 SE, on Monday and found this forum today.

I look forward to conversations here with all the enablers that will help me justify my impending addiction.

Welcome! Not only will we help you justify it, we'll help you spend $$ for it. Pix, please!

You join plenty of other Texans on here, I'll tell you that! @JMT is one of them.

Congrats on the purchase, and get ready to start emptying your wallets!

I have no doubt this illustrious group will gladly help me spend plenty of $$$ on this “project”.

Her is a pic of it sitting at the dealership awaiting a manifold gasket, among a few other things, to pass state inspection.

Thankfully, I had my wife’s blessing on this purchase... Especially since she is an attorney!

Spent several years growing up in the Panhandle area in Petersburg. Also lived in Lubbock for a while.

Welcome to the forum. From the Texas Hill Country here. Many places to wheel in the area if you ever want to join us.

Welcome to the forum, and great TJ, my favorite color! I graduated from Tech and now live in the Hill Country near @b0xcar. I hope to spend more of your money than mine, but I doubt that will happen. :D
