Inside tire wear

So 31,s are ok with stock 15,s? the Rubi had 16,s Ithink?
I sold my Rubi tires and wheels because they were 16". So many more choices and cheaper prices in 15" sized tires. If anything, you might need to add a washer to the steering stops, so the slightly wider tires don't rub the lower control arms when fully turned.

So OK now going with the Falken WILDPEAK AT3W 235/75R15 109T purely for looks re price, I may go bigger with lift so dont want to spend too much if I decide to change tire size in the very near future.
Comments on the Falken WILDPEAK AT3W?

Cheers

If what you have now is all you need then just stick with that size. Use your 1 good tire as the spare. Larger tires give you less power through the gearing. How much bigger is it to go to 31s? How much more will they cost? But until you get the entire front end checked you could be buying new tires just to have inside wear on them too. Bad ball joints or wheel bearings, possible bent axle even. Get the Jeep sorted first. Then get the new rubber.

If I dont change the tire I cant legally drive it, spare is a smaller 225 and is an original factory tire I think given its a USA made Goodyear Wrangler and our Goodyears are made in Indonesia.
I cant buy 2 of anything that look the same as whats on it now and I couldnt live with miss matched tires so I have to buy 4

The tires on now were discontinued and have not been made for a few years they have been replaced by Goodyear Softrac, my tire shop wont fit Softracs because too many have had to be replaced under warranty.
