Hi All,
Oddball question of the day. My son decided to remove the side glass off his hardtop. Now I am looking to put them back in.
The best product would be a specialty Black Urethane for Auto Glass, but this stuff is expensive and seems way overkill. The hardtop side glass in not a windshield and is non-structural.
I was looking for a standard black urethane/polyurethane but everything automotive is small little tubes. Anything larger falls under a construction adhesive, such as DAP Premium Back Polyurethane. Can I assume it is the same stuff marketed differently? Any other suggested adhesives I can use?

You need to go to an automotive glass shop or get in touch with CR Lawrence company - I may not be spelling the last name correctly.

You need an automotive urethane and also you need a piece of wood three-quarter inches by 4” x 18” long to smack your son upside the head.

i’d start by beating the boys ass and then find a good auto glass shop. just my two cents.
