Hello,

So I am planning on installing noico sound deadening this weekend. I will be removing everything and cleaning it up so I can install it, I will post pics later here is what I got.

I bought it all through amazon
- Noico Black 80 mil (36 sq ft) two boxes
- Noico Red 150 mil (36 sq ft) one box
- 3 pack roller (different sizes)

Hello all,

This project is a pita! Here is my progress
I took carpets out seats and center console. Vacuum, scrub, wipe Scrub some more vacuum. Forgot to take pics of my dirty carpets. Looks like I might buy bedrug for my next purchase.

Do you have your Jeep back together yet? Mines pretty loud, I have mud tires and factory carpet. I am doing noico 80 ACC mass backed carpet and some hood liner.

Hello,
So I’m not done yet.
What makes this easier is to use paper and trace it. Than cut the pieces smaller to install.
I haven’t tested it out yet, I read in several thread that the 80 mil by itself doesn’t make a huge difference maybe drops about 4-5 decibels. I found someone who used the 150 mil and said it worked so well. I’m excited to test this out. Once it’s completed. Today I focused on cleaning the carpets. Tomorrow I will be starting the back

Looks good, I like the pattern idea. Did you end up using the multiple size rollers? I just bought one. I just got the noico 80, 52 lbs and the carpet is 40 lbs. Hopefully it’s worth it. I forgot to mention I also ordered a HotHead Liner.

Im looking to get that as well the hot head liner but that will be later. Yes I did use the smaller ones for those tight corners around the roll bar as well as other areas however I would not recommend the metal ones that I ordered since I did put to much pressure on some areas and teared the material.

Hello again,

Alright I’m done, I did not like doing this project it requires a lot of patience and good Tetris skills.
When I did the rear I just cut all my pieces into 5 inch wide and 20in long and it made it so easy to install. I’m wondering if I did this to the front if it would have made it easier. If y’all have any questions about installing if and when you decide to do this project HMU. Also I took it out for a test drive and huge difference. I did put the 150 mil in the back as well I just didn’t take a pic of it.

This project looks like such a pain and I'm worried about rust worse and stuff, however I am getting tired of not being able to have conversations on the highway so I really need to do it. It's good to know that you don't need 100% coverage so there is less pressure to get everything perfect. I'm debating getting new carpet too but it appears bedrug does not make tan carpets

How about getting a bedrug and placing original carpet on top of it?

I've been married 17 years. Not having conversations while driving is a feature.

Well I wanted the bedrug because the original carpet is old and beat on, and I wanted a quality one if I replaced it. I might just get a new stock carpet, but I have weather tech mats anyway so I think I'll spend my money elsewhere for now
