Insulating my Hardtop

I'd use 3m contact glue here in the states .

The besttop brand hard tops are lined and they look really nice.

Of all my jeeps I never had a hardtop until this one ...man I like it.

My heater is super hot, but always cold in the Jeep in winter.

I just used rubberized spray on the tub and was hoping it would keep the heat in.

Was wondering if I sprayed the same on the hard top if the spray would help.

Wondering how it would be with ur process too.

Does the cloth headliner want to hold a lot of dust? I like the idea, just seems hard to clean. Same with a rubbery spray idea too. Or do you flip the top and vacuum it in the Fall? Or am I overthinking it?

If you use a marine grade carpet you could just hose it out and let it air dry when the hard top is off.

I'm not sure what the heat sheild properties of sound deadener are. But if anyone does this again. I'd consider this stuff. It cuts 97% of radiant heat. Weighs nothing. And will not melt in hot weather. Also cuts a great deal of sound. At least as much as sound deadener if not more. Click on the buy or shop button for full specs.
