I lifted my LJ 3" (Zone springs and Rancho shocks), which included a skid plate drop, and had no vibration. After I regeared my axles to 4.88, I had a slight vibration at 60-65 MPH. The vibration was almost eliminated with some adjustable rear control arms and adjusting my rear pinion angle.

Since the vibration is minor, and only at a certain speed, I planned to live with it, but yesterday I observed a change. With my windows out, and my top folded down, the vibration went away completely. It didn't matter, 55, 60, 65, 70, or 75 MPH there was no vibration. Sure there was a lot of wind blast and noise driving at those speeds with the top down, but no vibration. I put the top up and installed the windows to drive to work, and the vibration is back.

Any idea how the top up or down can change the felt vibration?
