Last night I was out fishing and was pretty tired on the way home - I feel sure i heard my interior warning chime go off just driving down the road-

2005 LJR - anyone ever experience this?

I noticed we had a thread were multifunction switch may have been the cause-

Your pal ,

It was the PERVERT alarm going off!!!! I thought @tr21triton told you he installed it.......... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

🤦‍♂️

I've never heard mine when driving and half the time when it's off and the key in the ignition it doesn't work. I think it may be the ignition key cylinder that's not grounding correctly.

Before buying a multifunction switch you should try cleaning the grounds behind the headlamps.

With the headlights on, if the ground is not so good, current from the headlamps can feed through to the turn signal circuit making the cluster think the indicator is on.

I was pulling all the junky bushes out of the front of my house last winter using the winch. I was working it pretty hard standing on the brakes and not giving it any rpm increase. I got the imaginary beep just once. I’m thinking I ran the battery down too low and it was warning me? Recovered quickly and I didn’t see the voltage gauge go down? Never saw any gauges that looked alarming.

Or was it telling me @AndyG was hiding in my bushes?
