Is it time for a pcm?

I made a post a week ago and did not get one single reply....
Long story short: 05 LJR manual, engine dies after warm up, gauges quit working, sometimes it restarts and sometimes not, cannot drive more than 4 miles without symptoms, throws different codes or combinations of codes, u0155, p0335, p0300, never the same code or code combo. Only got p0300 once or twice. Get bus 60 when I do gauge test.
CPS was replaced with Mopar replacement, cleaned every ground I can find, traced every exposed wire for kinks or cuts, pulled fuses and relays looking for burnt or corroded pins, replaced a suspect ground strap, unplugged pcm connectors and looked for loose pins, zip tied PCM connectors on tight just in case, replaced a few suspect vacuum lines...
Out of ideas. This is my daily driver, any ideas or should I just get a pcm. If so, dealer or NAPA?

Do a search. There is plenty of info here and other forums on this. I had the same pcm issue. I doing a 5.3 chevy swap and never looking back.

I have searched and got varied results such as: I am not replacing my pcm until I know it's the issue, replaced pcm multiple times, get a rebuilt pcm instead of a refurbished pcm, replaced pcm and problems solved, replaced pcm and still have issues...
Can't get a consistent answer. So, you are saying I am at a point where there is no fixing the jeep?

Sounds like my early issue, I replaced the Crank Position Sensor first (didn’t fix) and then the Cam Position Sensor.

The PCM is unlikely to be the culprit in a manual, from my understanding as I read up in a similar state as you.

Did the cam position sensor fix the issues? I have not ran across that resolution in my research

Yeah, I’ve not seen anything (knocks on wood) since then. I’m closing in on almost a year out from then.

The gist, from my understanding, is that the engine has defaults on startup and after a little it starts to tune based on sensor data. My sensor was likely faulty and once the bad data was into the system everything freaked out.

You can read the first and second post in the link to see if my experience is similar or not, if nothing else it’s a simple thing to change if needed.

The issues you had are similar to mine. I will try the cam sensor, hopefully it will work. Thank you very much for the reply. I did many searches and found conflicting information so I made a post here in an attempt to get help. You were the first real answer I got. (I don't count "do a search" as a real answer). Seems like a guy cant get much help on here unless he wants to know what to name his jeep.
