Is my starter siezed?

Ok, I gotta ask...

When I took the old starter off, there weren't nuts on the two bolts that hold it on.

Should there be?

I can not say for sure on your year. But my 97 has 2 bolts 0 nuts. One bolt is threaded into the starter and the second is threaded into the bell housing.

The only reason I can see for nuts if the previous owner cross theaded the bolts and distroyed the threads.

I'm just worried about vibration causing the bolts to back out is all. Don't want it falling off. lol
