I am not a fan of oil samples, a year or 2 ago I sent in a sample to blackstone that was out of a 6.0 diesel truck that was making oil at a high rate roughly 1 gal every 1,000 miles. I was sure it was diesel but sent in a sample anyway. Sample came back normal something like 1% diesel “less than normal” this couldn’t be right because I drained at least a gal to much oil out of it, the oil was obviously to thin as well. Changed fuel injectors problem solved. When I’ve mentioned this on other forums somebody said blackstone can’t really get accurate results on fuel delusion, too me that’s kinda important. Sorry for the long rant but I just feel I should share my experience
