Is there any reason to have door surrounds without a soft top?

The top will be much tighter using the surrounds. Plus, you can still mount grab handles if you want.
I never have any issues with it being tight, and the way it wraps around the bars I can pull it tight plus I personally like the looks w/o them

What mirrors are you using with out doors?
They are Harley Davidson Motercycle mirrors, you can get them in driver and passenger side. I have attached a link below if you shop around you can find them for less. I have tried others and these are great no vibration and small enough to not stick out to far and hit things but large enough for see wants behind you. They come in a short and a long stem, I don't remember which ones have have  but looking at them they look more like the long stem. My jeep is at my mountain home so I can't measure them
