Is this 2005 Jeep Wrangler SE a good deal?

Hey all, in contact with a seller and the jeep is clean.
Rough country lift which I've never been a fan of.
Right at 100k miles
2005 2.4l 4 cyl Manual
Soft top.

$11500

I've already seen it and drove it. Just want some input.

I also wouldn't pay that much for a 4-cylinder. No chance in hell.

I could throw in some pics but yeah, i'm agreeing with both of you on the 4cyl. His argument is it's cleanliness. My argument is a 4cyl.

He's so far off on the price it's not even funny. I'd tell him that the TJ community agrees

I had a 2.4L 5 speed with 115k and a 2.5' RC lift. It was "clean" in the sense it wasn't really too rusted and it had a fantastic interior. It went down the road pretty rough, even for a Wrangler.

If I did it all over again, I wouldn't pay more than 5 or 6. This is a stretch even if it were a 6 cyl IMO, especially with a shitty lift. Take it from me, just keep looking. It won't take long to build up buyers remorse. I pretty much had the exact same Jeep lol, and you can get a NICE 6 cyl (even in the rust belt) for $12k.

$11,500 and you have the worst manual trans (AFAIK) this generation had, the worst lift you can get, and you gotta shift at 3200 just to think about keeping up. He's at about twice what I'd be comfortable shelling out. My $.02

An SE isn't bad. They have their place. They can be fun, but not at the price point I'd expect a VERY pristine 6 cyl to be that doesn't require having to fix a shitty lift.
