So, this is after the start, and I've been talking about it more than working on it because I'm probably the most disorganized fucker in the world.
After starting frame repairs on my '99 TJ, I found the frame to be totally crapped out from the rust and neglect, you've all seen this shit before.
I Had this gutted H3 sitting around with the 5 cylinder 3.7 originally, so I disconnected everything left, and pulled the body off the frame, to donate it to my TJ.
I grabbed a Dana 20 T-case since the h3 front center section is more passenger than driver, and an AW4 trans since it has overdrive (and you can but a "shift selector" shifter to keep it in low for wheeling).
Pros: All wheel disc brakes, better rear axle, 456 gears, longer wheelbase at 111.9 inches, frame is in one solid un-rusted piece.
Cons: Weak as shit aluminum cased front ifs torsion bar front suspension, leaf spring rear suspension, adapter needed for AW4 to Dana 20 (Novak/Advance).
That's pretty much where it's at, I'm putting together a ZJ with the kid for their daily driver, and then I'll be back into it.
