Jeep Center Frame Safety Cap Question

Hello,

I currently have a 4.0 5 Speed TJ I am fixing up, however I started sanding down the frame and the only area where the rust is through is the center of the frame (skid plate)
Now my question is, can I buy safety caps for that area for a 97-02? The only reason I ask is because I can buy a set of them for both sides for roughly 100 dollars instead of like 250 for both sides.

03-06 frames have a very different hole pattern for the belly skid and a different skid that goes straight across at the rear of it.
