Hey I want some sweet Jeep interior mods to make it feel awesome. Switches, lights, technology, any interior mod to make it an original cockpit.
How about front and rear cameras?

Make sure the camera mounts don't slip, though.
What about ideas to freshen up interior? I have steering wheel upholster, seat covers, and painted dash in mind? ...
I like the wrap on the grabarI think wool saddle blankets and cotton handle bar tape are pretty cool.

Do you have an overall style you like in life? In other areas of my building and assembling interests, what I gravitate to has been described as retro grouch. I think it often has a hardware store feel about it. Generally, I like materials and textures with inherent qualities.

I love your saddle blankets. I wish i could find something even close to that in a tight seat cover.I think wool saddle blankets and cotton handle bar tape are pretty cool.

Cotton handlebar tape for bicycles. Hockey sticks use something similar. It comes in many colors. Coat the tape with shellac afterwards. In this case, I wanted to cover up the GraBar.com imprinting on the handle, but it also works nicely on the steering wheel. The tape is really grippy, especially after the shellac.
Ribbons and lace are another option if the Jeep wants to feel pretty.

There is a fiber repair tape ar Home Depot , you apply then wet...you talk about tough . It’s black , and the water activates the adhesive , gets hard as a rock. Why shellac? Weather proofing?
It helps secure the tape to itself as well as seal it. Poly would work, but shellac dries quickly, smells nice and can be cleaned up long after if the tape is removed. Why shellac? Weather proofing?
