Jeep dies immediately after starting

Hi,

I have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler 2.4L and it dies immediately after starting. There is no idle. Yesterday when I was messing around with it, i pushed the gas pedal and kept it at about 1500 rpms. After doing that for about 2 minutes, it began to idle ok and did not stall.

I replaced the TPS and cleaned the IAC. I have not thoroughly cleaned the throttle body. That is next on my list to do.

I have also listened for the fuel pump turning on after i turn the vehicle on. It turns on.

I have charged the battery. Any suggestions?

Any error codes? And yes, clean the throttle body to eliminate that.

Very important when u replaced the TPS and other sensors to only use an OEM.. not a store brand.

If u did get a store brand try to return it and get an OEM

Though you say you charged the battery it still sounds like there's a marginal battery problem. The engine will not idle or idle for long with a dead or low battery.

Put a jump box or cables on it to another 12v source and see if it keeps running

Dies after starting can be a symptom associated with a bad crankshaft position sensor.
Any engine codes?
