Back in the day, we would cruise all the back roads in my TJ. We had it stuck more than I can remember. Most of the time on purpose. Lol.

I remember this one time I was on my way to work. I had some time so I decided to go down this hill where they were logging.

Yep. didn't make it out or to work. haha. But I sure had a good time. Well worth it. lol.

Anyways,
Time has passed. Life and family have taken over as the priority and I let the TJ go! 😭
Bought the wife a KL in 2013 as here daily driver. She loves it.

I own a Ram and have jumped over to UTV's to fill my love of offroad. (when I have time)

I found this site surfing the web and I could tell it was privately owned. Unlike most of the online forums that are owned by the Toronto Star out of Canada. You can feel the personal touch from the start. Each and every member here should be so glad @Chris has put in so much of his time to deliver such a great community. I know its super hard to keep up with a corporate entity of unlimited resources. Where he lacks in resources he has made up in passion, one thing they will NEVER see at those "corporate advertising" forums.

Surfing around the forum, I found info on how you can support the community —>

If you haven't read through it please do. You can donate, upgrade your account, or choose a NO COST option such as buying your Jeep parts via the Amazon link, or posting a simple newb HOW-2. Just using the amazon link alone the site gets a few pinnies for the referral. It's not much but if all the members bought a few items from Amazon we cover the dedicated server cost in full.

Well, I just wanted to say I love the site. Keep up the good work @Chris.
Now, to get my 20 posts. lol.

Muchas gracias, I really appreciate it!

I often think about a UTV, but then I think (having never driven one before) that I'm not sure if my back could take the high speed off-road driving! Not that my back is bad, but it's not what it was when I was in my twenties, that's for sure!

I've owned a number of other Jeeps (including a super nice JK Rubicon), but I keep coming back to the TJs due to the simplistic platform. They take more money to get them into JK territory in terms of performance, but I think it's worth it in the end. Don't get me wrong, I like the new Wranglers, just in a different sort of way.

I'm happy that so many great people have ended up here. It sounds bias, but of all the forums I've been a member of in my life (which is a lot), this one has the best bunch of people I've ever run into. Pretty darn amazing if you ask me!

And even though the Toronto Star (love that nickname, haha!) tried to buy me out, I told them no, not going to happen. I enjoy the forum way to much to watch it descend into oblivion in their hands.

I now am registered with six automotive forums (which includes this one), because of the different types of vehicles I own. Excluding this one, I probably don't have twenty posts between them. On some, I've long since forgotten my password. This forum here is something special, that's for sure. Chris has done an amazing job with creating it, and the members have kept it headed in the right direction, with very few exceptions. Great place to be, for certain!

Is the talon turbo’d? My brother wants one but doesn’t want to be smoked by his friends turbo RZR or even worse, our cousins Yamaha YXZ1000

@Chris — didnt you mention there is an Ebay link or add on that contributes to the forum as well?

Yes! If you post an eBay link here, it's automatically converted. Then if you click on said eBay link and make a purchase through it, that helps (y)
