Jeep tj 2005 problem parking trasmision automatic

my jeep parked it and I put it in parking mode in the automatic transmission and if I leave it on a rise it moves it does not stay as if it were in neutral .. any help will thank you ..

X2 on this. Inspect the cable and adjust/replace as needed.

Now I know on a turbo 400 you can put the park lock in upside down, and it fits and looks like it goes there, but it won't hold in park. I am not positive it is the same on yours, but have you had any work done lately? Like a valve body pulled or a transmission overhaul?

I never made it to the transmission, I bought it and I realized later that the parking lot did not work and it would run only leaving it on a rise
