Jeep TJ insurance

Hi everyone

I am the 4th owner of a mint 2006 TJ LJ w a hardtop, 32's w Rubicon wheels w 80k on it. In a casual chat w my insurance agent she said if my jeep got totaled I would receive about $ 3,300.00 after I paid $19K because of a factory shape. I want to insure it for 25K thru Hagerty, anyone done this, are there driving restrictions

I tried hagerty, but since I drive my 2004 tj on a regular basis they said no. Don’t know why they refused, maybe because I put 6000 miles or so a year on it? It’s a third vehicle in my home but my preferred vehicle to drive.
 
I am in Ontario, so this may differ. However, allstate, my insurance company, will do market value plus any/ all mods I have put on.

I've heard Hagerty is mostly for show cars, not for ones that are driven.
Especially not ones that go offroad.
Hope you can keep that mint Jeep out of the NE salt.

I’d find another insurance agent!…
