So I was in town coming down the hill and saw a Jeep coming up the hill. First thing I saw was ducks across the dash and I immediately thought “I ain’t giving you a Jeep wave.” And whaddaya know, the driver gave a wave, but I did not return it due to my aforementioned observation.

So do you give Jeep waves to duck idiots or not?

No; I'll usually only "wave" to TJ's or older. Unless the rig has obviously been wheeled, then I'll wave. And if the TJ has ducks? No wave from me. Maybe even a single finger wave if it has angry eyes

I wave if I know them, or think I may.
That's the rule whether in the Jeep, on the bike, in the pickup or whatever.
Once in awhile, I'll wave regardless but not often.

Unless she's hot, then I'm all over it.

I've had ducks...I give them away to my neighborhood kids (who get a kick out of it). I wave, it takes no effort, is a friendly gesture, fosters good relations and may make someones day a little better. The world is already full of shit that makes things worse....

I usually wave. I've been ducked twice. The first time, I re-ducked a short time later. The second time, I just finished pumping gas and went inside to pay. The women who ducked my Jeep was startled after she saw my wife sitting in the passenger seat. They exchanged a few pleasantries.

I kept that duck and am waiting for my grandson to visit. I plan to let him use it to duck another Jeep, passing it on.

You beat me to it!

you beat your ducks?

The "Jeep Wave" is slowly disappearing with the advent of the 4 door Wrangler.

TJ I'll always wave.

JK/JL/JT I'll return a wave, though a wave is getting very rare from those.

They probably won't wave to my abomination of a Jeep due to its distinct lack of ducks.
