JKS rear track bar question

I am looking to replace my rear track bar on my 02 TJ somewhere between a 3-4 inch lift it has a little movement figured I would upgrade to an adjustable one I’m looking at the Jks ogs151 but I keep seeing that it says the track bar is for a cv driveshaft I don’t have an sye or cv driveshaft I would like confirmation that I don’t need an sye and cv driveshaft to use a adjustable track bar correct?

The track bar itself is not dependent on CV driveshaft. However, which relocation bracket you install is. If you have not installed a SYE and CV then your pinion should not have changed and you want to install a straight relocation bracket. If you rotated your pinion up, then you want to install a "bent" relocation bracket to account for the pinion angle change.

Actually, with the adjustable track bar and no CV, you really don't need to add any relocation bracket if it is not already installed because the track bar can be extended and should fit the stock OEM attach location.

Depending on how much lift you have, you may or may not need a TB relocation bracket.

With a low ~2" lift, I am currently running a JKS rear trackbar without a relocation bracket with no issues whatsoever. And I have a LJR so it came with SYE but I switched to a DC driveshaft and was able to properly adjust the pinion angle with no track bar issues. Not sure if that would still be the case on a short wheelbase TJ but I expect the same would hold. The design of the particular track bar may also make a difference as to how much you can adjust pinion angle before some binding occurs.

With a higher lift, more rotation is needed to get a good pinion angle and a relocation bracket might be needed.

That’s what I figured but wanted to make sure before I purchased it I would assume that replacing the rear trac bar wouldn’t change anything and would mount to the oem or lift bracket and the only reason for a slanted mount bracket is for a sye and cv so I definitely won’t need that maybe they say that because it can be used from 0” lift up to a 6” lift and with a 6” you need a sye and cv but they should clarify cause you don’t need a cv for no lift

I wasn’t asking about a relocation bracket but I did see talk about the cv driveshaft no good answers though.
