I have seen some threads where some people have put JK seats in TJs as replacement options. Had anyone done (or seen info on) JLU seats being put into a TJ? First will they fit in the space and second, how much bracket modification?
I find the seats in the TJ to be more comfortable than in my JT, so I'd almost want to go the other way. The JT seats have better lumbar support though...
I’m not overly worried about comfort. This jeep won’t be used much. Just around camp and an occasional ride around. I just wanted to find another option versus having to pay an upholstery shop a lot to redo my current seats.
Bartac seat covers maybe?
I’d prefer just seats. Not any seat covers. Also, I’ve seen some good condition seats for cheaper than a set of seat covers.

I'd personally welcome a better seat recommendation. My factory seats are decent but after a few hours on the logging roads/trails I start to notice a bit of discomfort in my lower back. Plus the lack of adequate side bolstering on the factory seats makes your core and lower back work harder to keep you upright in your seat.
Thanks for the insight. I have also seen some JK seats that have been put into TJs with good results. I occasionally see those also and may go that route. If I could find some good condition TJ seats as a direct replacement, I would do that. But they seem to be less and less common (in good shape)
