Always tight as long as I've had it. I changed out the control arms a couple months ago and the arms were tight then with cam bolts. When I removed them a couple days ago, they were still torqued properly. If them not being tight was the cause, it was a long time ago.So...if the hole looks like that I'm guessing the control arm bolt was not tight enough for at least a little while?

I do, but I'm already having to disassemble, regrease, and reassemble 2 of the JJs at 2 months old.Yeah, must have been at some point. Just trying to imagine what else could cause that.
You'll love the new arms.
Black Magic 16" BBK.What knuckle/brakes are you running? That is not stock TJ stuff.
Looks very nice. I will have to do that for my wife's Jeep.Black Magic 16" BBK.
Makes a world of difference, especially when running oversized tires. I highly recommend. Go toLooks very nice. I will have to do that for my wife's Jeep.
As you were advised earlier not for any valid reason.I do, but I'm already having to disassemble, regrease, and reassemble 2 of the JJs at 2 months old.
Not sure I understand JerryAs you were advised earlier not for any valid reason.
Blaine said it was a good idea to pull them apart and grease with some redline. He just needs to stop the squeaking. As you were advised earlier not for any valid reason.
My Savvy's deformed slightly, too. These are the ones sold by Blaine through Black Magic Brakes. https://www.shop.blackmagicbrakes.com/Johnny-Joint-Washers-Set-of-4-US-Shipping-JJW4.htmFWIW, the Currie washer for the front control arms deformed when I installed my Currie Control Arms. I purchased some aftermarket washers that are much thicker to replace the Currie washers. I well satisfied with the Currie Control arms/ Johnny Joints on my TJ.
This is from Currie: upper bolts 7/16" bolts 60ft/lbs and lower arms 9/16" bolts 90ft/lbsI'm getting ready to install a set of (used) Savvy rear CAs. I have no instructions or hardware. Anyone have any installation info they can share? Torque, bolt size, etc.
