Johnny Joint?

Okay what’s a Johnny Joint?
From what I have gleaned flipping through the site, a JJ is a greaseable control arm end correct?
Is this a control arm only thing?
Or is anything with a greaseable spherical bearing a JJ?
For instance would the JKS disconnect ends be considered JJ?
Is it brand specific? ie savvy?

My yet to be identified LCA’s have greased spherical bearings.
Can I call them Johnny Joints?

Johnny Joints work well on track bars, too.

Adding on to what @L J shared, on a TJ they're most commonly on the control arms. However they are somewhat common on trackbars as well.

A few brands source JJ ends on their arms: savvy, currie, rockmen, core (tier dependent). On the trackbar side it's one of the JKS ends (or at least a ripped off version), or all the currie trackbars.
