My prediction was that it was not going to be a run away seller , as far as producing numbers like the Tacoma . (18-22,000 per month)
I never said it was bad, ugly or anything .
One thing I based that on is it has a very polar reception , people either love it or hate it.
I would say that sales are going to stay somewhere in the neighborhood of where they have been 2-4000 unit's a month .
Do I think it will ever dominate the category? No.
I do think it has the potential to endure more than any previous Jeep truck , because of the success of the the 4 door and the fact the buying public is accustomed to the look.
Am I sure I'm right on all this ? No, it's just a post on a forum.
I'm glad Jeep offered another variation on the Wrangler platform/concept, and lifted they will be so cool .
That look may also help sales , once the market sees the potential.
