I just want to let everyone know about the great stuff on this site, and give thanks, rather than go to the old thread.

On an older thread, Chris did a listing of LED headlights, and what he thought of them. From that, I chose the Truck-Lite LED for my 06 TJ X.

I just completed a graveyard + run from the Denver area of Colorado to South Lake Tahoe California. These lights are the best thing I've done to my TJ since the purchase. I took Hwy 50 from Salina, Utah, to Tahoe, a road that links pretty much Nothing to Nothing. The spread pattern on the lights is perfect, catching both shoulders of the road, without blinding the oncoming traffic.......when there is one that is.

Hitting the bright was an experience, compared to the Sylvania's I had in before. I could actually Freekin see ! The visibility was 10 fold better, which saved the lives of a few little critters, and maybe my jeep.

This isn't a push on the specific brand of light, it's more of a thank you to Chris for taking the time to post his honest thoughts and opinions on the subject, and for posting about headlight adjustments.

Thanks Chris

Ray

Glad you like them! These are indeed a very good LED headlight. I have the Truck Lites myself and agree that it is one of the best things I ever did to my TJ. Like Raymond said, made in the USA and a 3 year warranty.

In addition to that, the U.S. military uses them, so you know they're tried and tested.

It's amazing how bright these things are on dim light roads. I thought I would need a light bar until I got these headlights, now I don't even think about needing any additional lighting.

Funny, I didn't use my spots, or even think about them on this trip.....
