I installed LED taillights in my 2002 over the weekend. Everything works fine except when my headlights are on. When the headlights are on, the turn signals blink very quickly when in use. If I turn off my headlights while the turn signal is blinking, then blinks slow down to normal speed. Is this an electrical issue? The wires appear to be connected correctly. Thank you!

All of the turn signals use the same flasher. Old school original flashers don't work with LEDs...not enough amperage or something like that to trigger the flasher. An LED compatible flasher will work with all LED lights or a mixed ecosystem or incandescent and LEDs.

I think you need a LM470 flasher to replace the stock flasher. It's located near the hazard switch in your steering column. Just remove the upper and lower steering column bezels and look just to the right of the hazard switch. If you turn a blinker on you'll hear the stock flasher ticking. Slide it out and replace with the LM470 (but check and make sure that's the right flasher).
