Greetings. Considering support for TJ's is not what it was 5-10 years ago, I figured I'd share info about a new player in the TJ market, Legendary Performance Designs. They are local to me in the Salt Lake City area. The owner formerly worked for a couple of well-known companies in the area before starting his own gig. I found out about the company through a friend who is running some of their parts.
I'm running the Slim rear bumper, just installed the spare tire delete, and have the front bumper in my shop waiting to go on. Both the bumper and tire delete have great attention to detail, holes lining up excellently with the holes in the frame. Both items went on very easily, no modifying to get them to fit etc. Many of their items are offered in Steel & aluminum variants.
I love how tight the bumper holds to the body, improving approach angle. In fact, I went my whole trip to EJS this year not tagging my rear bumper once. I could not have said that regarding my previous trip with my old Teraflex bumper. It also hides my Savvy 1.25" BL well.
Here is the TJ climbing "Misty's Thumb" on Metal Masher with the rear bumper installed.
Here are a couple pics of the spare tire delete. It too fit well, holes lining up. The bends were precise, with good attention to detail. It came with a bracket for a center mounted 3rd brake light. I won't be installing one immediately, but nice to know I have the option.
Overall, super impressed with what these guys have going on. Check them out for your next armor upgrades. Legendary Performance Designs
