I bought this 04 recently with a 3 inch body lift..... terrible way to lift a Jeep. None of the the spacers were 90 degrees to the frame! I really liked the way the 33s look but wasn't opposed to smaller tires. This jeep will be pulled behind my motorhome 90% of the time, and being realistic probably won't see much serious offroading. I replaced the 3" BL with a 1.25, mainly so I could get a complete kit, not knowing what the previous guy did.
I decided to follow Codamans recommendations...2" springs with a .75 spacer in the front, Rancho shocks. Not being a serious offroader I went with Rough Country adjustable front and rear trackbars, which really made the job easier. I used hockey pucks front and rear for bump stops, A Saavy transfer case shifter, and a 1" MML finished me up. My quick initial ride was pretty good, still have to fine tune the steering wheel position.
