Arizona List of Arizona members who like to go off-roading

Well so far Dave C says weekend and another friend of mine says he can only go if it's a Saturday, @MikeE024 I know you replied to the thread but does this mean you are interested? I have a couple more friends to ask but they both have newer Jeeps:confused: not TJs. @DavidBT sorry to hear you'll be laid up, depending on if this happens you're welcome to ride with me (I'm assuming it's the clutch that will be a problem with your knee?)

Thanks for the ride offer Brian. It's my hip and I don't think I can get in any of our rigs. I will be looking forward to getting past the surgery and back out on the trails though.

Well if you can get in any Jeep at all it would probably be my low rider sitting on 30's!

Unfortunately, I’ll be in CA until mid August. A stock Jeep is good to go…you just want to air down so it’s not so bumpy.

Seems like the preferred day would be a Saturday. I currently have no obligations for the next 2 or 3 Saturdays, if anyone wants to do this just reply with which Saturday works for you. I have 3 people in Tucson who are thinking about going but they want a little notice.

Is Ryan Mauzy on here or does anyone know him? Just looking for confirmation that I can reasonably trust the guy.

Anybody interested in doing the Santa Rita OHV park off Arizona Hwy 83 October 19th? I should be getting the infusion line out of my arm on the 16th and new shoes for the TJR on the 17th. It's a nice ride from the Northern end to the Southern end of the park, probably a 6 hour or so trail. There's a couple of rough sections, nothing really technical. We can meet up at East Greaterville Rd and Hwy 83. There's a nice wide area on the Hwy.

Great to hear you're on the mend. I'll be out in January again staying the very north end of phoenix again.
There's so much more arizona to explore, hopefully we will met up this winter again.

Good trail. Won't be in the area but maybe next time.

We need to try and make something happen. I would definitely like to meet up with you sometime. Since I'm retired, I prefer to wheel during the week, but if a Saturday or Sunday works, I can work with that.

I'm going to post this up here in case anyone is interested. @Bob in Texas is coming to AZ this weekend so.....

I spoke with Bob last night and he is in route to AZ. 20 hours staring through the windshield getting here and not really looking to drive a long way north or south getting to trails.
So I am suggesting .......
Saturday, DeSoto mine. Meet just west of I-17 exit 248 @8:00am. Plan to take the trail all the wat to Senator HWY and then to Crown King. From there we can decide on return route. Dirt road through Bumble Bee, Turkey Creek, Back way.....this is suitable for almost any Jeep.
Sunday, Table Mesa. 8:00am west of I-17 exit 236, first large parking area on the left........We can decide trails on the fly depending on who shows up. So many to choose from Crap Shoot to Anaconda.
We may be able to flip the days and scale trails if it accommodates more people participating. Let 's discuss.

(kind of missing our trail run instigator this year)
