We have about 3/4 inch of ice here in Pendleton. Main road connecting Pendleton and Clemson has been plowed and brined. We took the jeep out this afternoon and were able to navigate the roads no problem. I doubt we will be as successful tomorrow. Still sleeting and freezing rain here. Has been since about 8am this morning.

Well, since you asked, I did get to work ok...🙄🤣🤣 We got a light dusting of snow, just about broke my door handle off breaking the ice seal that formed.

No issues this morning. Never lost power, but lost internet for a few hours last evening. Lots of big limbs down in the yard, and lots of damage to trees and bushes, but nothing too bad. Lots of trees down in the neighborhood.

So not bad at all, but given the temperature forecast the ice is going to be an issue for a while.

Thanks for asking, John. Any damage on your homestead?

Besides food city putting my wife in a motel for 2 nights, you know so she could be at work 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️ no problems. We have a dusting of snow and its colder than a witches bosom in a brass bra, other than that we are good.

How about your Daughter everything good with her??

Kristen was out about 8 hours. Power came back on for her around 4pm, so not bad. But she is lucky as she is up closer to Nashville, and there are still about 200,000 without power up there.
