Hi guys.

Looking for recos: aluminum radiator - '06 TJ 2.4L

The heat in South Florida has finally cooked and cracked the 18-year-old OEM — surprised it lasted this long.

Thoughts? Experience with particular brands? Likes/dislikes/preferences?

Thx!

Aluminum will not cool any better. I have the cold case that I replaced the old radiator with when I installed the water pump and thermostat. The PO installed a cheap radiator in mine that always leaked, so it was needed.
As you cannot get the single row OEM radiator you will have to settle with a good quality dual row radiator. Aluminum if you want, but it's no better. If that 2.4 is overheating you might want to dig more into the issues and check water pump, thermostat, fan clutch and the fan. See if something is not working correctly.
Just my opinion.

Thx. Not overheating yet - I always pay close attention to the temp gauge and there was no indication. Just discovered it this afternoon when I opened the hood for an oil check. 4"+- horizontal hairline crack in the top of the radiator.
