Loose bolt on transfer case

Hey everybody,

I was eyeballing some suspension components under my 99 TJ today and happened to notice this loose bolt on the back of the transfer case, it appears to be holding down the female end of this plug on the transfer case. The bolt had either it's way far enough out that I could thread it by hand.

Can anyone tell me what this bolt/bracket/sensor is for? Tried locating it in the fsm but couldn't find anything about it. Should it be tightened to a specific torque spec?

It’s the speed sensor for your speedometer. It doesn’t need to be torqued, snug is fine.
