It appears my lower front control arm is barely touching my Lower shock mount. I’m guessing a little grinding is in order?

Why not? No point in scraping off that pretty blue powder coating and putting extra stress on the JJ now and then. It's always good to cycle the suspension, surprising all the crap that seems to be messed up one way or another.
im finding out all the angles have a lot to do with this too.
I have a 4" suspension lift and 1.25 body lift.
here are my measurements of angles. see what ya thing about this.
97 jeep wrangler tj stock Dana 30
Caster angle 10 deg. ( measured on top of ball joint )
Drive shaft angle 10 deg.
penion angle (top of pinion housing on the chunk. 5 deg
penion angle (bottom of chunk along that flat rib under the pinion) 9 deg.
penion angle ( front of chunk on the on the welded bungs) 6 deg

I'd like to think the only reason to consider angles is if you have vibes or don't like the return to center feel of the steering otherwise I might just leave it alone. Normally people put the max caster that doesn't give them vibes, I'm not an expert but that's what I'd do. I guess all I really mean is don't just randomly go looking for reasons to adjust those control arms.
I agree with you. I dont really have a return to center feel, but ill be checking that out in a little.
Chris take a look at my front dana 30 axles and see if you see anything wrong with them please
I read a post where I believe Mrblaine said the caster angle with a 4" lift should be closer to 6 deg. I dont know if that would give me more room or not.
