What is up with that???
I am on the job last week and have a flat on my Dodge Dakota. Crew comes over and startst to help put tjhe spare on. My lug wrench that came with the truck doesnt fit. We bring over 5 cross wrenches and try....none fit.
Just in time the mechanic shows up and gets a socket on one and blam!! it breaks off and the cover gets stuck in the socket.. Took and hour to get the 5 off and remove the covers from the socket.Tried prying and pulling the covers with pliers. Nothing removed them.
Who is the jerk that thought to design and install them without even a note on the owners hand book. That pure dee crap was put on my wheels. Good thing I wanst in the middle of nowhere at night in the rain. Just spend a few cents more for real one piece lug nuts.
What really, really pissed me off is that when I told my wife she has the gaul to say "Why didn't you just call AAA?"

Ordered new regular lug nuts and installed them today. Impact work really good at getting the crap pff my truck.
