Also took out the front drive shaft in prep for Monday's delivery of my Tom Woods front shaft and removed the PO's stupid red LED floor lighting (why?)he damn switch was mounted low on the dash and I kept hitting it with my right leg :cautious:

Zero vibes all the way up through 75+ with new front and rear Tom Woods CV drive shafts. Hope still the same after I remove the transfer case drop once I get my Savvy adjustable CA's

Installed SpiderwebShade. Love it, although I wish the gap between the edge and the roll bars was smaller. With that said, I don't know why I waited so long to get one. I no longer look like a beet after a day of driving without the top. Also moved the switch for the KC lights from the lower part of the dash in my footwell to the blank area where the ashtray would be. Makes no sense why the OP would put it down there other than laziness, as it was a pain in the ass to find it in the dark when I needed it the most.

Painted flares today and I think they turned out pretty good. I dont like the bushwacker flares the PO put on, but the new paint will make them tolerable until I find a set of stock ones.

Took the ugly nerf bar slider steps off...awaiting my motobilt sliders as replacements. Wife now complains about difficulty of getting in lol.

EDIT: Don't know why I said Motobilt sliders because I didn't order any lol. Must've been dreaming.

Got my new Motobilt front and rear bumpers today. Dry fit them tonight. Will remove tomorrow to paint and probably spend some time with the wire wheel on my frame ends before reinstall. I really like the way they look and they're fairly lightweight for steel.

Planning on Exogate or MorRyde at this point.

Got bumpers painted yesterday. Plus did some wire wheeling and painting of the frame and cross member while bumpers off. Time to install bumpers today.

Also, going to take rockers off today and paint to match bumpers. Should've done that yesterday but help nephew replace rear shocks on his XJ. Yep, the broken bolt experience lives true. Was able to drill out and re-thread.

Ordered fully adjustable Savvy control arm set and rear track bar Friday. Can't wait to remove tc drop. Have an adjustable rear track bar already but has a heim joint that is looser than Courtney Love. Makes noise every time I go over a bump while turning. JJ should work better (and sound better thru no sound 😉).

When I bought this rig, I thought, man, thats exactly how I wanted mine to look. However, I seemed to be undoing much of the OP's work and redoing lol...
