metric screws?

hey guys, and gals, I need some help. wanting to change all my hinges to black. hinges are no problem to find, but the screws that come with the hinge sets are not metric. where do I purchase metric torx head 40 screws for all hinges? 99 sahara.

Have you actually checked one of your hinge screws and know they are metric? I know the screws that hold the mirror on are not, and I'm pretty sure the lower hinge screws and the upper hinge/windshield screws are SAE 5/16-18 as well. I'll check later today to verify though. You should to.

Will do, just going on what quadratec posted. Said screws were metric in their foot notes.

I checked several windshield hinge screws and door hinge screws. They are all 5/16-18

Quadratec should not be viewed as a source for accurate information. I've seen way too much incorrect information in their catalogs and website over the years to place my faith on what they say.
