Military Memes

Or the ability to comprehend how the 70 yr old topless lady at the banana show can make correct change from a stack of coins sitting on top of a beer bottle with her vagina while holding an 8 foot snake on her shoulders. Oh the wonders of the world the military showed me.

Oh, the things they can do with that organ!
A kid that worked for me had to get checked for AIDS periodically for a year because he pissed off a girl at a show that was shooting darts at balloons.
She whipped around and shot him in the neck with a dart from her vagina!

Don’t worry, they’ll solve it the same way they solve everything: money printer go BRRRRRR. Before long the dollar will be so worthless no one will get any benefits.

Just to stir things a little more:
Here in San Antonio, the gummint is feeding kids three meals a day (during summer - no school!), and will pay their tuition and bus fees. Parents can leave their kids at school until 7 p.m. Local fund raisers pay for clothing and school supplies. Yet, less than 25% of their students can read at their grade level. 55.6% of 7-9th grades failed to meet the basic math standard, with 74% of 7th graders failing.
The NEA has been crying "More money!" since at least the 1960s and the results are worse every year.

Here is an excerpt from the SAISD web page:

The San Antonio ISD ELAR Instructional Framework prioritizes the core competencies required for students to develop into effective lifelong readers, writers and communicators. Through the implementation of the framework design, students will be able to:

  • Develop and sustain foundational language skills: listening, speaking, discussion, and thinking.
  • Use metacognitive skills to both develop and deepen comprehension of multiple increasingly complex texts.
  • Respond to an increasingly challenging variety of sources that are read, heard, or viewed.
  • Recognize and analyze literary elements within and across increasingly complex traditional, contemporary, classical, and diverse literary texts.
  • Use critical inquiry to analyze the author’s purpose in order to develop his or her own products and performances.
  • Use the writing process recursively to compose multiple texts that are legible and use appropriate conventions.
  • Engage in both short-term and sustained recursive inquiry processes for a variety of purposes.

How many of the students' parents can read and understand that?
