Navy & Air Force..... You guys don't know about all the FUN you've missed out on. Funny how you hated that shit when you were doing it but now I look back and I truly do miss doing some of that stuff.
Actually did my time with you guys. Trust me on this- liberty in Singapore beats a march in the desert with 20 other idiots any day.
Actually much truer than many would believe. The Marines got a bunch of M1 battle tanks that way at the start of the Gulf war.

I'm glad MOST of the time once getting activated for Iraq we didn't have to keep count but yes I well remember the days of weighing brass and trying to find more to make the count match.

i had a big do that in 03 they had no transportation. found a Hummer sitting on the ramp got in and drove away 4 months later he parked it where he found it and returned stateside
