Mixing ATF +4 and ATF type F in a pinch?

Hey everyone. New here sorry if this question isn’t in the right place. Yesterday I replaced the radiator on my 04 sport and the hose clamp at the bottom failed causing about 3 quarts of trans fluid to spill all over the road and I lost the ability to go into gear. Pushed it off the road and the only place I could walk to only had ATF type F. Threw approx 3ish quarts in to get it back to level and now the transmission runs like a clock. Is it cool to leave that in there or flush it for all +4? Transmissions are uncharted territory for me. Thanks

Drain and refill with the proper fluid

X2, I'd drain it and refill with ATF+4. Ideally it'd be flushed and refilled with ATF+4 since only draining it gets less than half of the old ATF out.

Thanks guys I’m just gonna bite the bullet and take it in for a flush tomorrow morning. I dodged a bullet with not totally wrecking my trans I’m not going to take the risk and leave the type F in there. Like I said it was a pinch situation
