I have a nv3550 with a leaky shift tower, just got some seals (will do a review in another thready I posted) in and would like to get those in plus some fluid in before my next road trip, a week and a half away. Transmission is filled with redline mtl but for the life of me cannot find the left over bottle I had from when I originally filled it (maybe around 40-50k km ago). However, I have almost a full bottle of royal purple synchromesh. Trans is below the fill hole very minimally, maybe 1/4", maybe a bit less, will verify tomorrow. I cannot get redline mtl locally or in time... Just wondering if I can mix a bit in? Thanks!
