Ok, this sat inside for long enough, had to bring it back to life!

Cut 2" off each tube to get past the rotted out tip. Good metal all the way around now. Self etching primer and rattle can bedliner came out good! Will mount on my jeep this weekend. That said it's still FOR SALE as long term I'm interested in a more HD bumper.

Looks good, I would absolutely run that. I was debating taking it off your hands and doing exactly that as I'm not picky, but it's just hard for me to justify a new bumper at the moment.

Well done! Looks like you gave that thing a new lease on life!

Any pictures of it on the Jeep? Curious to see how noticeable it is that you trimmed some of the tube off.

Rain broke long enough for me to finally swap it out. Bumper wasn't 100% straight but bolted down easily. Tubes go well under the tub, honestly from 5 feet I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a new one and mine. Pretty happy with the restoration.

Are you still planning to sell this? If so where are you shipping from and what’s your price? Please DM me :)

My only issue is the lack of a hitch for my mountain bike rack, as the curt falls too low and few bumpers match my mopar front.

I think I'm going to hold on to it until the spring at least, really like the look. I'm debating of going down the Exogate route for my spare or to get a tire carrier bumper but with the holidays coming up up my jeep budget is limited until early next year.

This is back up for sale - $270 shipped to continental US locations. Replaced it to get a bumper with shackle tabs. It does have some new surface rust from getting scrapped on the trail and being parked outside. Could easily be cleaned up and touched up with matching paint. I'll provide the paint brand / specifics to the buyer.

Not perfect but if you want this type of bumper and don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it, this is your one!
