For a few weekends now I have been working on new cylinder head with gasket after my 99 2.5 died a few months ago. Back then it sputtered out with white smoke. So I just had what I thought was such an easy repair with the help of the FSM on here. I get it all fine tuned and turn they key. It's running great sitting there while I put a heat cycle on it, but it's blowing white smoke. I am pretty upset, but holding out hope that tomorrow I can tighten down the head bolts a little more. I torqued them with a cheap T wrench. I read on here that a stuck injector might make white smoke. Any idea's mates. Has new head and gasket

Do a compression test but sounds like you lost the gasket again. If you replaced the head (assuming the new one is good) could be a warped block causing it to blow again.

White smoke happens when antifreeze gets into the combustion chamber. Does the engine have antifreeze or just plain water?
