Motor surge

Ok so I noticed my fan selector only blowing in defrost position no matter where it’s sitting. So I check the side vacuum hookup on the intake. Sure enough it slipped off so I stuck it back on voila! Fan selector works again.

Well then the Jeep started surging upon braking. Like a serious safety type of surge.

I’ve seen some post about cleaning the throttle body correcting this problem.

I unplugged the hose again and drive home safely. So it seems it’s a simple problem fixed with plugging and unplugging a hose

Sometimes when you fix one vacuum leak as you did, it exploits a secondary vac leak.
Maybe double.check vac connections around your map sensor, they should be good and snug
