Who rides, what do you ride? If you used to ride, post about that too.

My old Bandit 600s, this photo is from 2002.

I haven’t had a bike in about a decade, don’t know if I’ll ever get back into or not. I used to have a love affair with the old Suzuki GS series - I’d find them in various states of disrepair, fix them up, paint them, ride them for awhile & set them free. Here’s a pic of my last bike I rehabbed: 82 GS1150

06 Honda VTX 1300 R. Has 33k miles and they all belong to me. Ive been on it quite a bit this summer as my new commute is 70 miles a day. I've tried selling it a handful of times with little interest, then figured with insurance and registration, its less than $200 a year to own, so might as well hang on to it! I'd like to upgrade to a street glide or road glide for longer rides someday.

Some oldies but goodies. The Harley is an 87 FXR with over 100K in miles. Been to Sturgis SD 3 times and rode it from MA to SD each time. The Triumph is my wifes, its a 69 TR6R 650cc Tiger.

Sold my 2006 Buell Firebolt XB9R a few years ago. I bought it brand new and had it over 10 years. It was an absolute monster. I live in the city for work now and riding it became less than enjoyable. Nothing but potholes, red lights, and people getting run over by cars. It sat in the garage unregistered the last year I owned it.

The Buell was such a cool bike, the frame was hollow and served as the fuel tank. The rear swing arm was hollow and served as the oil tank. It was air-cooled like a Harley, but had an electric fan that would fry your legs in traffic. Smooth belt drive and the front rotor was on the outer edge of the rim for a zero torsional load (ZTL) braking system.

I used to be the Southwest Regional rep of The Victory Motorcycle Club. Then I got T-boned while riding home from work one day in 2012. Sure do miss that bike. I now currently ride a Triumph Speed Triple as a commuter.

Hey nice bike! I wish I would’ve held out for an 08-10 bike some days. Didn’t know what I was missing out on at the time.
