Mounting camp lights

I’d like to add a low-closet LED light or two to light up camp (so I don’t have to drag out some tripod thing). I’m not sure if I’ll run them from the Jeep battery directly or from a aux mattery.

Has anyone found a good place to mount camp lights on the Jeep, either temporarily or semipermanently, other than drilling into the hardtop (which I don’t plan to do)?

I thought about maybe a light at the end of a pole inside a flag mount or something like that. Give me your good ideas and bad.

A welding magnet ground would do. Remove the center spring loaded bolt and mount the light there. Glue on some vinyl sheet to protect the paint.

You could also use a spring clamp instead of the magnet-
