Anyone elsepress joints in/out of the stubby end of their axle shaft like this?
Worked like a beauty for me. No access to a sturdy vise clamp. The longer ends were easy enough to press if i was sitting on them. It was much more difficult to find leverage on the little guy.
Obviously if you have a clamp it would work better, but this could work in a pinch on the trail.
Notes: it seems totally possible that threads could be damaged if your not careful. Especially if they are very rusted, and are giving much resistance as a result.
