So I started a 2 gauge pillar pod install to run my transmission temp gauge. That went great and I love see my trans temp at all times. My issue now is I cant decide on another gauge to run in the pod. I'm thinking Oil temp or Oil pressure. Is one worth knowing over the other or is there another gauge I should run. Thanks all.

I would install a mechanical oil pressure gauge in the other pod.
Oil pressure is more important than oil temperature.
As we all know the factory oil pressure gauge is somewhat inconsistent at times.
A mechanical oil pressure gauge would be a nice backup.

I was leaning towards the Oil pressure gauge. Heard or read somewhere that TJ’s after 03 just go to mid range after seeing 3 psi. So a real gauge would be nice.
Also I was thinking of just running another sensor to the oil line and placing a switch between both sensors and the gauge. That way I could see what the oil temp was when needed. What say everyone? Doable?
