Need low profile taillights and Savvy has no ETA in sight

Hard to tell which are brighter BMB or MC. (I think I know the answer)

But like I said before BMB are priced perfectly, great quality and customer service. Blaine is also active here and has helped me before. So more wins for BMB.

Hopefully they will be in stock soon

$334 vs $241

No brainer.

I always wanted round tail lights but a part of me feels it does look better with OEM style tail lights. Especially if there’s a raw aluminum option.
I can sell a set of raw aluminum versions right now. What I don't have are the black anodized versions. If it is of interest, the ONLY reason I decided to do my own housings is I saw of set of the MC versions here in the driveway and marveled at the terrible fitment of the side marker lights and was amazed that any designer would consider that appropriate or even acceptable and then I remembered that they fully depend on the ignorance of their customers to sell product. If something that fits that horribly appeals to you, I'm not sure I even want you as a customer. But, after seeing them, I thought perhaps that the customer had screwed up the install so I went and looked. Nope, that's how they are and then I read the description describing them as simply the best out there.

Here, let me show you how something is supposed to fit and while I'm at it, how about dual intensity side markers?

I'm ready for a pair of BMBs when they are back in stock, especially after one rear ender and an almost 2nd one. I recall in the past reading about the license plate and in looking at the kit it appears that it comes with everything I need to re-attach my license plate? Other than that is a replacement flasher the only other part I'll need? (2000 MY and leaving the fronts incandescent)

Also, wtf kind of advertising claims are those??

"Improve performance"
"Low voltage"
"Zero heat emissions"

We are working hard to get a new machine shop up to speed. Unfortunately, it takes a very skilled shop to do these due to the tight tolerances and my disdain for low quality workmanship. We have had a few rounds of samples that are not quite up to snuff so we are still working on getting that dialed in. Shouldn't be too much longer but I've said that before and gotten my ass kicked for it.

6061 T6. Guess why we use it? It isn't for strength, aircraft grade, aerospace uses it, yada yada yada. We use it because it is difficult to find the other alloys like 5052 and similar in the correct width and thickness bar stock so it can be cut to length for blanks to start machining. We don't need 6061, we just need something "affordable" in the correct size. We can get the others but they have to be saw cut or water jet cut out of big sheets and the cutting fee overrides the money saved from using a cheaper alloy.

I was also particularly offended that they were heavily inspired by the Savvy lights and somehow building an inspired version somehow makes theirs the best.

Typical Metalcloak marketing.

If they would focus on building a product and drop their over the top marketing, they would still sell stuff.

The license plate relocator with the plate light is sold separately. The relocators are both stainless but I have one e-coated black. They are both stainless because I despise rust with a passion.

Thanks, I'll order all of it when I see it's available. Meanwhile can anyone tell me which flasher I should order for my 2000, the EP27 or the Novita LM470? I'd rather not do the trace cut on my original, and I'm not exactly on a budget so the best is what I want. Will be leaving the fronts incandescent.

Maybe the guys over at Mac Smith can help if things don’t work out.
