New axle bearing has play in it, is this normal?

Have a 2006 Rubicon LJ, both of the rear axles seals were leaking and making noise so I decided to take them off and press on a new Spicer kit (PLAT-SPICER-KIT90). Both bearings were seated well and moving freely after install. The first axle installed with no end play, but the second one has about 1-2 mil of in/out play in it with an audible click when pressed on and jacked up with the tire on. I took the axle back off to confirm the bearing has play and not the diff. Is this normal or is this just a manufacturing defect?

Maybe you got the axels mix up , there are two different lengthens axels , I have a 05 and just did this job and almost forgot about this myself ? I think the longer axel go's on the right side. make sure to tighten your axel nuts to 45 foot pounds.

Thank for the reply, did one side at a time to make sure I got the axles back on the same side haha. All torqued up right as well. I figured the bearing is just bad and ordered a new one sadly.
